Join Kehilat Tsion for the Fall Feasts of 5784 – Here is our Schedule:
Rosh Hashanah 5784

Saturday, September 16, at 10:30 am we plan to celebrate the Feast of Trumpets – Rosh Hashanah! Come on this holy day to hear the sound of the shofar, and possibly enjoy some apples and honey to commemorate our wishes to each other for a sweet new year.

We plan a special kiddush – Both meat and non-meat dishes, hot or cold, are welcomed.
Following this oneg, those who desire to do so will go to Still Creek for tashlich to symbolically cast our sins away. This is a tradition of recommitment to the Lord and his ways. We commemorate the words of the prophet Micah (Micah 7)

Yom Kippur 5784
Who is a God like you . . . . You will throw all their sins into the depths of the sea.

On Monday, September 25, we meet for prayer at 10:30 am and then again at 6:00 pm for the Neilah (closing) service after which we plan to break the fast together (details to be forthcoming).

Sukkot 5784
Image that says "Celebrating God's Presence at Sukkot."

The first day of Sukkot will be Saturday, September 30, we will be celebrating Sukkot at our Shabbat service. Definitely a great day to bring a Jewish friend so they can learn how the biblical feast – and even the traditions that have arisen out of it – speak so wonderfully of our Messiah who came and dwelt among us. On Saturday, October 7, Shmini Atzeret – the last great day of the feast will be kept.
