Itinerary

Monday, March 4 – Arrive in Tel Aviv at Ben Gurion Airport. Visit the Ayalon Museum and Independence Hall, where prophecy was fulfilled and Israel was declared a state in 1948. Visit beautiful Jaffo (Joppa) and then check in to our Mediterranean Hotel for dinner and a well-deserved overnight.

Tuesday, March 5 – We enjoy our first Israeli breakfast. Up the coast to Caesarea where Paul faced Agrippa, Mount Carmel where Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal, Megiddo, Nazareth, and eastward to the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee).

Wednesday, March 6 – We take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, visit Capernaum where Yeshua taught, visit Tabga of the Loaves and Fishes miracle, go to the Mount of Beatitudes, Tel Dan, the beautiful Banias, and get an overview of the Golan from Tal al-gharar (Mt Bental).

Thursday, March 7 – We go to the Jordan where Yohanan Hamatbil (John the Baptist) immersed the crowds, Beit Shean, down the Jordan river valley to Qumran, and after all that settle into our Dead Sea hotel to enjoy the spa and relax.

Friday, March 8 – Visit Masada via cable car, Ein Gedi, Jericho, and then up to Jerusalem itself for an introduction to the city. We stay in Jerusalem for the rest of our trip!

Shabbat, March 9 – We worship at a Messianic congregation, go to the Mount of Olives and the Garden of Gethsemane, the Lions Gate where Messiah will enter the city, the pools of Bethesda, the Upper Room and Mount Zion, and possibly Bethlehem.

Sunday, March 10  – The City of David, including the 3D presentation and a walk through Hezekiah’s tunnel (bring shoes for walking in water!). We then go to the ancient Temple entrance at the Southern steps of the Temple Mount, the Kotel (Western, or ‘wailing’ Wall), the Jewish quarter including the Cardo and the Broad Wall.

Monday, March 11 – Still in Jerusalem, we visit the Israel Museum, see the Temple Model and the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are kept. Remembering the Shoah, we visit the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum, then on to the Knesset and Garden Tomb. Today we’ll have free time to enjoy the Shuk and do some shopping.

Tuesday, March 12 – We enjoy our final Israeli breakfast before we head back to Tel Aviv and home.
